Of course this is sad. I hate missing-children stories and can’t even fathom what they and their families and communities are going through.

But there’s something even sadder about this poster to me - the inclusion of all the bullet points about how she’s a great person. Would people be less inclined to try to find this girl if she didn’t get straight As, didn’t volunteer with multiple organizations and wasn’t “conscientious”?
